I promised to design a T-Shirt for anyone donating $250 or more. Since this will be printed when the fundraiser has ended, I will need your help with sharing the fundraiser one more time! If and when we fill this fundraiser fully, I will print a t-shirt for every single one of my donors, regardless of how much money they donated. The idea behind the T-Shirt is to bring awareness to breast cancer (hence the bright pink color and the word REPAIR, standing for the cancer treatment and the whole situation with the way the diagnosis changed my life). The neon sign at Park Blvd did not work for years and just before I closed the boutique we fixed the sign, which is a historic sign and signals what was in the shop before for over 60 years: A shoe repair shop. I loved the idea to have my boutique be at an old shoe repair shop! Especially since I value the recycling of anything and I though in some way, by making and selling sustainable clothing I sort of was "repairing" something as well :) I hope this T-Shirt will lead to more contributions, as my donors will proudly wear it and promote breast cancer awareness.
