Swiss Made Label Requirements

When does the label “Swiss Made” apply? Unlike the label “Made in Switzerland”, which requires a product to be assembled within the country of Switzerland, the Swiss Made label requires that the maker of the product has been fully educated by a Swiss school in Switzerland AND that the maker either uses Swiss engineered machines/tools to manufacture a particular item, or that the majority of components are Swiss Made.

In the case of IDIL VICE, the clothing is made in the U.S.A. however the schooling and machinery used for production are all Swiss Made, so the Swiss Made label applies to IDIL VICE. We love the fact that we are Swiss Made in the U.S.A.
