It’s 2021 but fashion looks like 1995.
What goes around comes around, and surely - in fashion specifically - if you are patient enough and you held on to some clothing items or accessories, despite them being considered “out of style”, and required space to store, which was possibly lacking. If you had the confident presence of a strong belief that the item is worth storing nonetheless, you might suddenly again be the original owner of a sought-after asset! It happens time and time again. Just think of Diana Ross’s 1970’s wardrobe. Her daughter Tracey Ellis Ross is blessed that her mother kept such a historic stash with un-deniable ever-increasing value, not only that but the fact that she is in position to have access to such incredible hot frocks to wear today in 2021. Yes, it’s the age of NFT’s and the Sneaker craze, but original fashion staples are not far behind and are currently driving the newly embraced hunger for sustainable models of consumerism, of re-sale, especially designer resale. And so here we are. Re-Introducing old collections from the 1990s. Have a look at what we still have in store from those years of Maximalism and get ready for some retro drops!
